Exposure itself is set by the leaf shutter inside each Zeiss lens rather than in the body, so the body's own failure points are its wind motor, mirror mechanism and battery-fed electronics. It shares its magazines and lens mount with the rest of the 500-series system.

Hasselblad 555ELD motor won't wind or dies mid-roll
The wind motor and its electronics are the classic weak point on EL-series bodies. A dead or stalling wind usually means the battery contacts or motor circuitry have been affected by old cell corrosion, though worn motor gearing can do the same. Worth a look with fresh batteries fitted, but persistent stalling points to the drive electronics rather than the cells.
Hasselblad 555ELD shutter won't fire
Because the shutter lives in the lens, not the body, a firing failure on a 555ELD is as likely to be the body-to-lens electrical coupling or an interlock as the shutter itself. The body will refuse to fire if the dark slide is still in or the magazine isn't fully seated, so that's worth checking first before assuming a mechanical fault.

A mirror that stays up after firing points to the mirror mechanism binding somewhere in its cycle, often tied into the motorised cocking sequence rather than the mirror itself. On a motor-driven body this is usually a mechanical timing issue rather than anything the user can clear by hand, and is worth having looked at before running more film through it.

Consistent marks in the same position on every frame usually trace back to the réseau plate, the etched glass grid fitted at the film plane on this model. Scratches, chips or debris on that plate print straight onto the negative. It sits right at the film gate, so it's a body issue rather than anything to do with the lens or magazine.
Hasselblad 555ELD magazine won't attach or fire
The 555ELD won't release the shutter unless a magazine is correctly locked on and its dark slide withdrawn, so a refusal to fire can simply be an interlock doing its job. Beyond that, worn locking catches or interlock pins on the magazine itself are a known cause of intermittent firing. Confirm the dark slide is out and the magazine seated before assuming a fault.
